Bertan Hatipoglu

Bertan joins PositivEnergy as a Sales Engineer to focus on bridging client-focused business development with the necessary technical knowledge. After starting his academic life in Turkey, he decided to continue his education at an international American high school in Israel, composed of more than 52 different nationalities.
Following his start as an Aerospace Engineering major at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), he finished with a degree in Mechanical Engineering there due to the broader applicability of the latter. Bertan started his career interning at an airline in Turkey as an engineer where he made critical improvements to post-flight analysis methodology, and later worked in research labs during college. After college, he went on to work at a healthcare informatics and software company where he had a customer-facing role with an approach that was solution-oriented and focused on the voice of the customer. He then headed into the renewables industry where he worked on preliminary designs and developed end-to-end proposals for solar, energy storage, and EV charging station projects.
