Gigi is a recognized subject matter expert in energy and power systems with 30 years of hands-on work developing disruptive and influential designs for the US Department of Defense and commercial markets. While at companies such as Tesla, SAIC, and BAE Systems, her credits include a series of firsts; 1) first to build a direct liquid cooled Li-ion battery in 1998, 2) first to demonstrate a MW class ground vehicle with architecture capable of supporting pulse DEW systems in 2009, and 3) first airborne tactical DEW battery in 2019. Gigi is an active contributor to PositivEnergy’s ongoing ESS and EV Charger project and product design processes.

Gigi is an active volunteer for US Coast Guard as an Auxiliarist and as a Cadet Activity Officer in the Civil Air Patrol sustaining best practices in Search and Rescue.
