Raleigh-Durham Airport EV charging deployment

Raleigh-Durham Airport engaged PositivEnergy to retrofit and revive existing EV charging infrastructure to ensure that its fleet of electric buses remained operational following the bus company bankruptcy. The retrofit provides new diagnostics and reporting functionality while also enabling compatibility with other vehicle types for the 4 power systems, totaling 240kW of DC Fast Charging capability.

RDU is now creating the roadmap for further electrification of both fleet and public-facing parking lots, working with PositivEnergy to plan reliable, scalable charging that supports the airport's long-term sustainability goals.
