Backup Power · Seattle, WA

Right-sizing backup power for the Seattle Kraken.

PositivEnergy designed and deployed a distributed lithium-ion UPS system for the Seattle Kraken, using a custom tool to right-size backup power based on the number of POE switches in their data rooms.

Seattle Kraken practice facility with PositivEnergy distributed lithium-ion UPS backup power

Seattle Kraken is a professional ice hockey expansion team based in Seattle, Washington. We were referred to Seattle Kraken by the Inter Miami team after we successfully completed a UPS project for their Ft. Lauderdale stadium.

The Seattle Kraken operations team asked us to design and architect a distributed lithium-ion UPS system from scratch. PositivEnergy was able to deploy a custom tool to right-size lithium-ion UPS systems based on the number of power-over-ethernet (POE) switches in their data rooms.
